My name is Aliia and I am from Kyrgyzstan. Japan owns a high status in education sphere, the country is known for its discipline and hard work, which is why it is an honor for me to be among the students of NipCA project.
Over the period of writing my BA thesis I realized the vital importance of global fight against international human rights issues, especially women’s rights. Despite being the most democratic state in Central Asia, women in our country still face discrimination or experience violence. I want to change it. I want people to be enlightened. Priceless knowledge I will get from Tsukuba will inspire me and give me more ideas to actually influence gender equality in Kyrgyzstan.
