I am from Kyrgyzstan. I have volunteered in many places which brought me to the idea of creating a Community Development Project. The project was devoted to teaching English language to children in need. In most of the cases, children in Kyrgyzstan tend to work in order to earn money instead of getting education. Every child should enjoy his childhood without being involved in work. Thus, it is important to research about child labor issue in order to bring effective solutions. Despite the governmental codes and international documents and policies, this issue still exists. The problem is that children are mostly involved in physical work which can harm their mental and physical health. The aim of the research is to find out the reasons of ineffective policies and programs regarding the child labor. I believe that by defining the reasons of failed policies and programs, it would be possible to bring strong solutions and policies to child labor issue.
