From Tuesday, March 11 to Thursday, March 22, 2025 (12 days including travel days), the Nippon Foundation’s “Central Asia-Japan Human Resource Development Project” conducted an “Overseas Medical Study Tour” in Kazakhstan for undergraduate medical students. A total of 8 undergraduate students participated in the training program: 5 from the College of Medicine, 2 from the College of Nursing, and 1 from the College of Medical Sciences. They took part in visits to medical universities and affiliated hospitals, attended lectures, and participated in student seminars, and more. At the universities they visited, each student gave a presentation in English on the medical situation and issues in Japan and Kazakhstan, and engaged in lively discussions with local students and faculty members.
