On Wednesday, July 23, 2025, we held the reflection meeting (post-training session) “Let’s talk about the SDGs in English” for the 2025 University of Tsukuba Graduate School Japanese Company Internship I “Hokkaido Training Trip.”
The meeting was attended by seven 6th cohort NipCA fellows (SPJES) and one 7th cohort NipCA fellow (MPH) who participated in the training, along with Professor Yamakawa Kazuhiko and Associate Professor Yamamoto Yukiko as supervising faculty members, NipCA friendship members, and NipCA project staff.
Under the direction of Associate Professor Yamamoto, eight participants each reported their thoughts and impressions based on their themes, such as multicultural coexistence and SDGs initiatives in administration and the tourism industry. Each presentation was followed by a question-and-answer session, leading to lively exchanges of opinions.
Through the meeting, it was conveyed that the participating NipCA Fellows had many learnings through various encounters and experiences during their first visit to Hokkaido.
