On 20 September 2019, at the 4th lecture in a series of “The future of Central Asia and Japan”, Takahiro Kono of the International Business Human Resources Division of The Japan External Trade Organization(JETRO) gave a talk titled “The Advantages of Highly Skilled Foreign Human Resources to Companies”. Mr. Kono, who is well versed in the field of overseas expansion support for small and medium-size enterprise, gave a presentation based on rich data and examples of the current state of legislation in Japan regarding the use of foreign human resources and issues in Japanese communication that occur after hiring. The lecture was held at the Shinjuku campus of J. F. Oberlin University, which is located in the heart of the city, and a large audience gathered to listen intently to Mr. Kono’s lecture.
