On March 18th (Mon), 2024, a total of 16 NipCA fellows from the 4th and 5th terms visited the Nippon Foundation.

The 8 4th-term fellows reported on the completion of the program, and the other 8 fellows from the 5th term reported on their arrival in Japan and introduced themselves to Executive Director Yuji Mori and expressed their gratitude to the Nippon Foundation.

Executive Director Mori also presented the 4th term fellows with their Sasakawa NipCA Fellow Certificates, and expressed his hopes for their future success as leaders of the next generation who will build a better world.

This year, one will complete the Master of Public Health (MPH) degree program at the University of Tsukuba’s Department of Public Health, and seven will receive master’s degrees in the Special Program in Japanese and Eurasian Studies (SPJES) from the Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Tsukuba.

In the future, the 4th NipCA Fellows who return to their home countries are expected to serve as central figures in the alumni network formed by the Nippon Foundation, JACAFA Foundation, and the University of Tsukuba, and to engage in solving social issues in the Central Asian region.
