My name is Nargiz and I come from Azerbaijan. I have graduated from the University of Language in Azerbaijan, where I studied International Relations and Japanese Studies. I have always been interested in education and sustainable development goals (SDGs), which are the global agenda for achieving a better and more sustainable future for all.
I came to Japan to pursue my master’s degree at Tsukuba University, within the Special Program for Japanese and Eurasian Studies (SPJES). I chose this program because I wanted to learn from Japan’s experience and achievements in education, and to explore how they can be applied to other contexts and regions. I hope to contribute to the advancement of knowledge and practice in the field of education and SDGs, and to foster cross-cultural dialogue and collaboration among researchers and practitioners.
I believe that education is a powerful tool for social change and human development, and that it can help address some of the most pressing issues facing our world today. I am looking forward to learning more about Japan’s education system, culture, and society, and to sharing my perspectives and insights with my peers and professors.
