My name is Abdurasulova Mehriniso (Niso), I am a PhD student at the University of Tsukuba. I am from Uzbekistan, from the city of Bukhara. At the master’s level, I graduated from the Economic Diplomacy program at the Dip Academy of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy. I completed my bachelor’s degree at the University of Oriental Languages in Tashkent, Faculty of International Relations. I interned at the Tokyo University of Foreign Studies (TUFS) for 1 year under the exchange program.
I am the head of the Japan Studies Program at the Institute of Advanced International Studies of Uzbekistan. I write articles and analytical notes on Japan’s economic and political aspects and reforms.
I speak Japanese, English, German, Turkish, Russian and Uzbek. The topic of my research is attracting Japanese foreign direct investment to Uzbekistan. While covering this research, I noticed many scholars study Central Asia at the University of Tsukuba. For this reason, I decided to study in the NipCA program. In the future, I can write a research paper based on a Japanese educational program that can benefit both countries. I also hope that I can write my research paper with the help of NipCA professors and the unique and rich literature of the University of Tsukuba.
