From Friday, February 17 to Friday, March 24, 2023, the FY2022 Spring Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Overseas Training Program (36 days) was held in Almaty, Republic of Kazakhstan, with a total of 11 second- to fourth-year undergraduate students from our university participating. This training course, a special optional course called “Overseas Language Training Russian C,” was jointly developed by our university’s Center for Global Communication Education and Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, our university’s Campus-in-Campus (CiC) partner institution. During the training, both Russian language students and beginners were able to deepen their understanding of the cultural and social diversity of the Russian-speaking world through practical training in Russian and Kazakh languages, as well as homestays and daily life.
On Friday, June 23, 2023, a debriefing session for the returnees of this program was held.
