On December 20, 2019, 7 NipCA fellows and 2 NipCA friendship members who are studying under the support of scholarships from the Japan Foundation, and 8 faculty and staff related to University of Tsukuba including Dr. Toshinobu Usuyama, Professor of Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, visited United Nations University in Shibuya-ku, Tokyo as the SDGs seminar for the “Japan Foundation Central Asia-Japan Human Resource Development Project”.

By listening to the United Nations University lecture on SDGs initiatives by water resources experts and Ms. Mariko Kato of the UNICEF Kyrgyz Office, “SDGs for Everyone: Challenges and Initiatives in the Republic of Kyrgyz Republic of Central Asia”, participants had the opportunity to think about the SDGs from a wider perspective.
