Hi!

I am Feruza from Uzbekistan. I graduated from the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies, majoring in Economics of Foreign Countries (Japan). At university the main oriental language was Japanese, studying the language and culture of Japan, I became interested in this country and decided that I will get my master’s degree here. The reason why it is Tsukuba is that this university is one of the top 10 universities in Japan and is located in a quiet town where you can enjoy the insanely beautiful nature.

During my bachelor’s degree, my research was about economic development of Japan, and now I plan to do research about economic development and institutional quality of the country. In future I want to represent Uzbekistan in international economic organisation.

Besides, I am an Erasmus+ ICM alumni, I studied in France, in Lyon city for 4 months as an exchange student. Being in Japan, I have a chance to compare two absolutely different cultures, Europe and Asia. Which I am very happy about.
