“My name is Assylzhan and I am from Kazakhstan. I have majored in Political Science and International Relations at Nazarbayev University. During my bachelor years, I have actively participated in various student clubs such as the ones organizing Model United Nations and OSCE simulations. I have also been a member of the student organizing committee which hosted the Harvard Project for Asian and International Relations (HPAIR) conference in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan. As a keen student of my major, I have always been interested in the issues of international development and regional integration. Following this, I am planning to research regional integration in Central Asia here in the University of Tsukuba.”
